At the end of the day, you should decide on the look you want to create – glamorous; fun; elegant. Then choose your jewelry to suit that look. Diamond jewelry (or gems to look like diamonds) can look elegant or glamorous but rarely look fun. Beads and stones can give the fun look. Enjoy shopping for your jewelry. Try on as many items as you can, and give yourself plenty of time. You could of course turn this whole process on its head if you have a special item of jewelry that you really want to wear. Choose other items to compliment the special piece and then select the dress that really highlights it.
